An interaction is a deep dive into the analysis

Whenever you ask Semantyr to run any kind of analysis, it counts as an interaction. For example, diving into a landscape to find whitespace, or finding claim restrictions and design-around options in a risk analysis. Refining and revising your raw data does not use an interaction.

What it means for your planExplorer includes one interaction per report. Professional includes unlimited interactions. Both are priced per user.

A report is the outcome you can present

At any point you can get a report of the analysis so far. A static report is read-only. A dynamic report lets you keep interacting with the analysis.

A workflow is a project in plain words

You can combine workflows and interactions into one for your organization, for example a landscape, then whitespaces, then problem statements.

Questions we hear

What is the difference between a subscription and a service?+
A subscription gives each user ongoing access to run their own projects, and is priced per user. A service is a single project delivered to you, priced per project, with no annual commitment.
Is the price per user?+
Subscription prices are per user, per license, with no cap on the number of users. Each person using the platform has their own seat. Enterprise subscriptions are custom and may include a minimum number of seats. Services are priced per project, not per user.
Do the prices include tax?+
No. Prices exclude taxes. Taxes are charged at actuals where applicable, for example for customers in India.
How do I cancel, and how do refunds work?+
Monthly subscriptions: tell us on or before the 10th of the month and it ends at the end of that month. Annual subscriptions: tell us at least 30 days before renewal to stop it renewing. If you need to end an annual plan early, we consider a pro-rata refund for the unused months. Services: a full refund before work starts, and a partial refund after. Approved refunds are paid within up to 90 days. The full terms are in our Terms of Service.
Can I host my data in a specific region, or use my own model?+
Yes, on a Custom subscription. Regional hosting, for example in Europe, and the use of a private model of your own can be arranged. Choose Custom and tell us what you need.
Is there a discount for paying annually?+
Yes. Annual plans save 10% compared with paying monthly for twelve months. Switch the toggle at the top of the page to see the annual price.
What counts as an interaction?+
Any time you ask Semantyr to run an analysis, such as a deep dive into a landscape, it counts as one interaction. Refining and revising your raw data does not. Explorer includes one interaction per report. Professional includes unlimited interactions.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic report?+
A static report is read-only, and you can share it as a PDF with colleagues. A dynamic report lets you keep interacting with the analysis.
Can I see it on my own patents before I pay?+
Yes. Request a demo and bring a patent set from your usual search tools. The analyst stays in control.
What if I need something custom?+
Choose Custom and answer a few questions. If Professional covers it, we say so. If it goes beyond what exists today, an expert will reach out to you.
Can I download my report?+
Yes, any time. Download the report in one click and share it by email.
Is my data used to train models?+
No. Customer data is never used to train any model, and workspaces are isolated from each other. Read more on the Trust & Security page.
